Remembering Easter 1865

Historic Linwood Foundation, in conjunction with the Chattahoochee Civil War Sesquicentennial group, will present “Remembering Easter 1865,” a dramatization featuring some of the main local characters who took part in “The Last Battle of the Civil War” during Easter of 1865. With a church service as its setting, the program will begin at 7:30 am on Easter Sunday, April 5, in the Lummus Chapel, located on the east end (near 10th Avenue) of Historic Linwood Cemetery. Parking for the event will be on the grass in front of the chapel. Attendees are asked to enter the cemetery via the chapel gate on Linwood Boulevard, just off 10th Avenue.
