Pokémon Go

We understand that “Pokémon Go” is the new craze for Iphones and Android devices to get you out to explore your city or town. However, Historic Linwood Cemetery is just that, a cemetery, and we do not consider playing “Pokémon Go” to be appropriate decorum on the grounds. You are welcome to visit and locate the historic graves of people such as Gen. Henry L. Benning or John Stith Pemberton, but trying to catch “Pokémon” is just not appropriate at the final resting place for so many people. We want you to enjoy your visit to our historic cemetery, but we also ask that you respect the place for what it is, a cemetery.
