Historic Linwood Foundation’s annual fund-raiser, the Fall Ramble, will be held in the cemetery on Thursday, October 21, 2021, with tours beginning at 4:30p.m. (gates open at 4:00p.m.). The last tour will begin a few minutes after 6p.m.
This theme of this year’s ramble (the 24th held by the Foundation) is “Heroes of the Past: Early Columbus First Responders.” Tours will feature stories of Columbus policemen and fire-fighters, some of whom died in the line of duty. After touring, ramblers will enjoy a delicious barbeque dinner under the stars prepared by Clearview Barbeque.
Tickets are on sale now at the Historic Linwood Foundation office, located in the cemetery gatehouse, just off Linwood Boulevard near 6th Avenue. Ticket price is $30.00 for adults and $15.00 for students (under the age of 21). WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS!!!
Parking will be in Piedmont Medical Center’s 17th Street Outpatient Parking Lots. Some tours will be able to accommodate guests with special mobility needs.
